Using Patch to create new record in SQL give me "Specified Record Not Found"

I created a simple table in SQL that works correctly from Studio Manager

ID - Int with auto increment

Application - Text

User - Text

I would like to create a log of the users accessing my application so I am testing the following.

From the onselect properties of a button I have:

Patch('myTable',Defaults('myTable'),{Application:"Test"}) which gives me "The specified records was not found"

I have tried including the ID as   {ID: Blank()}  but I get the same thing.   Not sure how to add new records to SQL using Patch.  Thanks.

Is Application a primary key on the table?

No the primary key is the ID which is set to auto increment and everything works fine in Studio Manager, I can add a value to the "Application" column and leave the others null and it increments the ID and accepts the record fine.  Thanks.
