Using a SharePoint list with drop downs as a data input

I am trying to us a Sharepoint list, which has drop downs within as a data input for my gallery PowerApp.

When I try and use the lists with a drop down as a data input i get the following errors:Capture.PNG

Below is a screen shot of the list I am trying to use as a data input, so you get an idea of what I mean by drop down:Capture1.PNG

Any help or insight into this would be much appriciated!

Re: Using a SharePoint list with drop downs as a data input

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Could you please show more details about your SP list? Is the Requestors Business Unit column a Choice type column within your SP list?

Could you please share more details about the error message within your app?

Further, do you want to list the Choice type column values (in your SP list) within the Gallery control using a Drop down control?

If you want to list the Drop down values (Choice type column values within your SP list) within your Gallery control, you should add a Drop down control within the Gallery control, then set the Items property of the Drop down control to following formula:

Note: The 'Requestors_x0020_Business_x0020_' represents the Drop down column within your SP list.

Re: Using a SharePoint list with drop downs as a data input

Hi @v-xida-msft,

Thanks for your response, I am using the power app galary to display my lists on a modern SharePoint page.

All I want the power app to do is display what is held within the current sharepoint list in a linear format (one item after the other).

The Requestors Bussiness Unit is a choice column type.

Sorry I am reletivly new to PowerApps, other than ther errors shown in the screen shot how do I find more details about them?
