Using the Item selection to pull specific user data

I noticed that when I am trying see data in an app I cannot see it until I go to the Items section and put in "BrowseGallery1.Selected" It then will show any data of the person I click on from the browse screen. I was wondering if there was a way I could change the equation under the Item section to only pull data to that screen that is from the user only from an excel doc. For example, something like:

This equation does not work, but the idea would be this:

If the user is using the app then refer to table1. Pull data linked to user name row.

Dont know if this is possible or not but thought I would ask.

Hi @ShawnLJ,

If here you mean to customize the record under the item property of the form control, yes, that is possible.

For Display Form control and the EditForm (Edit Mode) control, we could customize the item property with specific record, but the data source property must be fixed.

For example, in a Display form control, we have the Data Source property configured with Table1, then for the item property, we could set it with:

First(Filter(Table1, Name=User().FullName))

As filter () function will result in a table consists records which meet the condition, we need to use the first() (or the last) function to get the first record.

For the relationships between gallery control and the Form control, please check:

For the filter function, please check:

That worked thank you!

the only thing that is not pulling up now is the image, do you know an equation that would pull the image up? The images work in the browser search screen just not when I go into the profile itself.

That worked thank you!
