Using the Map Control in a display form

I have created an app that shows a collection of records submitted by users to report items that need repairs on campus.

It reporter app captures a photo, the latitude and longitude, date and problem descriptions.

Using the Map Media control, I can map the collection of reports, including a nice pop up with the problem description.

I would like to add the map visual to a details screen, so that a field agent can, in one screen see the problem detail and the single item location.  However, I cannot seem to add the Map Control inside the Details Form, even when I drag it into it.

I tried creating a custom card but the studio freezes.  So no good solution so far.

You don't need to put the control in the form (as it is not supported in the datacard of a form).

You can place it outside of the form and reference the record that the form is displaying.

@RandyHayes Thank you.  I will try that.  I found another solution which works in the card.  I added a custom card with an image, and referenced the content to Bing Maps.  There I could set latitude and longitude to ThisItem.Latitude, etc, along with some interesting controls.

Using custom card is feasible for the scenario if you only want to display the location on the map.
