Validate text because space counts as valid string in textbox

Hello!

I'm very very new to PowerApps and I have a question. I'm working on a survey app that requires users to type their name and the survery shouldn't continue if their name isn't in the box. If the box is empty, it currently doesn't continue, BUT it does continue if there is a space in the textbox.

Can anyone suggest a solution to my problem? Thanks!

Hello @Anonymous ,

You could validate the length of characters in the name text box using the function !IsBlank(Trim(Label1.Text)) on the visible property of the button that continues the survey. The trim function removes all the spaces in a string of text except for single spaces between words..

Thanks,
