Validating multi page app

Current approach

I have an app which records its data into a SharePoint list. This list has roughly 30 fields so I have split the app into 3 pages.

Each Screen has a Form that contains a subset of the 30 fields split between the 3 screens / forms.

As I move through the app I am opening a new Screen / Form in turn. When the final screen is submitted by pressing the button the 3 Forms are Patched to the SharePoint list.

The issue

This works fine if everything is valid but if there is an error on the first screen it throws an error. As I am patching and not using the SubmitForm functionality I can't use the out of the box basic validation with OnSucess and OnFailure.

Better way?

Is there a way to validate each screen before moving on to the next one?

Re: Validating multi page app

@Conor, here are some references you can leverage to build validation in each screen/form before you proceed to the next.

Validate function: https://docs.microsoft.com/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-validate

DataSourceInfo function: https://docs.microsoft.com/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-datasourceinfo
