Re: Validation error on submit/create form in power apps

I had the same issue when trying to submit a form to my Azure SQL table.  The app was working perfectly until recently and I have found that, in the SQL table I have a unique ID field that is a required field.  I have this as the first card on my form and noticed that its property is now set to true. While I don;t know what it was set to before, I never had any issues submitting the form.  I have now changed it to false and the app started working correctly again.

hi @Kgrange

Which properties you set to false. I have three fields which are required but I don't want them in form. I am stuck here.

I have included the required fields on the form but set their visible property to false as well as their required property.  This issue is something new so I'm not sure what causes it but changing the required property to false on the form has fixed it.

Re: Validation error on submit/create form in power apps

Hey @vaishalivyas1

Sorry I didn't respond anymore. Was busy working on something else that had my priority.

So I guess you should try and recreate your Dynamics form with Hours and Minutes as text fields.

And then use text fields in your PowerApp as well, to eliminate that you have a conflict with types of fields.

Kind regards

Tom

Re: Validation error on submit/create form in power apps

Hey @vaishalivyas1

Well if you use number types, you just need to use the textinputname of your field in the Patch function something like this:

Patch(...{Title: Textboxtitle.text, ANumber: textinput1})

Kind regards

Tom

Re: Validation error on submit/create form in power apps

Hey @Tom_Slosse

Ya , I got the solution . There were some fields on my CRM system which were not there on CRM form but those fields were system required. So I made those fields to optional . and accordingly made changes on PowerApps form. and now it's Working.

Vaishali
