Variable not updating

Hi,

I'm using the PDF View to display a PDF from a SharePoint Document Library. The process initially works. However, when I select a different PDF, the first PDF is still displayed. My guess is the variable is not being reset or something to that nature. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @nmoffatt

Can you please provide some more details . Like code or Screenshot.

So Other users can understand the issue in the right context and suggest the solution

Thanks

Sure thing. This first picture is the "On Select" formula to create my variable and move to the PDF Viewer screen.PDF1.PNG

The second photo shows the screens "OnVisible" that was navigated to. The formula uses the variable from the previous screen and runs it through a flow

The third picture of a successful flow run. The flow "works" as far as pulling the information I want. However, the input is not changing as I select different items on my original gallery.

@nmoffatt

Your problem is most likely related to the Selection in your Gallery.  You can either add a Select(Parent) in the formula first or change your formula to the following:

Navigate(
    'Assembly PDF Viewer',
    None,
    {selecteditem_b: ThisItem}
)

I hope this is helpful for you.
