Visible if Statments for Gallery items

Hi,

On one of my new apps i have several galleries each has three buttons in their (OK, N/A and Defect)

Id like for my onsubmit button (Patch and collect) to not be visible unless one of the buttons in each nested gallery is selected

so my visible option is currently set to

If(SteeringGal.SteeringCHK = Isclicked || OTHERGal.OTHERCHK = Isclicked ,true; false)

SteeringGal & OTHERGal is the Gallerys Name

Steering CHK & OTHERCHK is the name of the Button

i.e heres one of my nested galleries on app startup

ClearCollect(
    ServiceBrakeList,
  {ServBrakCHK:"OK", IsClicked:false},
  {ServBrakCHK:"N/A", IsClicked:false},
  {ServBrakCHK:"Defect", IsClicked:false}
  );

However it clearly doesnt work

Could anyone share the code?

Re: Visible if Statments for Gallery items

Hi @shaneOZ ,

Within your Galleries in stead of buttons why don't you use Checkboxes for (OK, N/A and Defect) and when the user selects any of them then on visible property of Submit Button you can use If(chkboxOK.checked Or chkboxNA.checked Or chkboxDef.checked,true,false).

if this answers your question mark it as verified and give it a thumbs up

The nested galleries with the button are visually more appealing, once im finished it i may have to go the checked box options as im curious to see how it functions with 35 nested galleries.

HI @shaneOZ ,

Then I have another thought on this. as mentioned before place a checkbox but hide it and also keep button as (you want it to be visually appealing :-)) when the user clicks button check the checkbox behind the scenes and disable the button (if you don't want user to select it multiple times)

then you can use same formulae as before.

if this answers your question mark it as verified and give it a thumbsup
