Yes, you can open the file you saved after things are running again.
The only problem is that Teams is experiencing issues too!!! 🤔
I was just about to post a Teams room link where everyone could commiserate together on this, but my Teams client is showing a sync error!
Maybe it's just time to go outside and get some fresh air.
Same here with Teams Desktop - FYI - mobile app seems to be working ok. I managed to get a message out to my company that way.
