What happen with all gallerys ?

My app worked fine but when I wanted to edit today some stuff didn't worked at all:

- impossible to select a gallery item

- impossible to count gallery items

- impossible to load a form from a selected gallery item

 

and much more

How could my app can be usefull again?

 

Anyway I thought it was just a bug in the studio so I published the app to test it. So my app is broken and all my users are blocked.

I tryed to restaure the app to a previous version but it still does'nt works

 

In an another app I haven't any issue but functionalities are the same

Final update: A hotfix to address the issue has been successfully deployed. The updated Studio version is v3.19052.20.115177617. You will need to edit your app(s) in Studio and re-publish for the fix to take effect--please remember that it make take up to a few minutes for the newly published app(s) to be packaged and available to players (web or mobile). Please report any issues you experience with this update.

Once again, we are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

Please find the responses in line below. 
 
- impossible to select a gallery item
A gallery Item can be selected, to make it user friendly, we can change the Template fill property so that whenever an item is selected, the background color of certain item is changed. Also, the selected gallery item can be retrieved using the <Gallery_Name>.Selected.
 
- impossible to count gallery items
You can also get the count of all the items inside a gallery bu using the CountRows function on all the gallery items. ex: CountRows(<Gallery_Name>.AllItems)
 
- impossible to load a form from a selected gallery item
With the <Gallery_Name>.Selected function, you can pass the reference to form so that the data can be loaded.

@yashag2255 , really thank you for taking time to help me, I really apreciate.

But I think there is actually something rotten in the microsoft Kingdom.

That really would be good if we could have some news about it. Everything was working well but I published an update just changing a button color and every gallery is down actually, no edit form, no item selection, no count.

 

I don't know what happen but I'm praying god that would be fixed it as soon as possible

Glad I could help you. The powerplatform is a highly volatile one changing almost every day and will be stable don't when. It is good in its own way but yes it sucks at times. In case you need any more assistance with the stuff you're building, please feel free to post here on the forum.

Just to add in here that I was experinencing very similar issues yesterday evening.  My galleries just stopped responding - see my post here in another thread.

@keshamer @yashag2255 @AndrewTS @MarkSL We have identified the issue and we are actively working on a hotfix.  We will keep the thread posted as we know more.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Update: A hotfix has been validated and is approved for deployment. Once deployed, you will need to edit your app(s) in Studio and re-publish. I will update this thread once hotfix deployment is complete.

Have to hang ten until the deployment fix rollout is complete.


 

Update: We are still working to deploy the hotfix. We encountered a technical issue which prevented us from deploying sooner. I will update this thread again once hotfix deployment is complete.
