When I am trying to Import an Update to a Canvas app - the 'Update' option is grayed out and I'm not able to select it - Why is it unavailable?

I created a form based off of a SharePoint list.  I ended up customizing this form significantly and creating a new list to patch the form data into.  Since this form is now patching to the new list, I thought it would only make sense to switch the data source to the new list. After switching all the data sources to the new list, the form spit out a sharepointintegration.hiddenselect error... In order to fix this, i exported packaged, updated 1.Json code to lookup to new list, re-zipped etc... Now when I am attempting to import it back with updates, the update option is grayed out... Why is the update option Grayed out?

I also tried to upload using the 'create new' option and the package uploads but then fails due to an error that say the SharePoint list you are trying to attach the app to already has an app..> is the only option deleting the app and importing as Create New?

Only other option I can see is switching back to the old list and spending some extra time reformatting all the columns - either way i feel like the two options above would take a lot of time... If the update option wasn't grayed out this would be a breeze!

Just an update in case anyone else runs across this issue.  The reason I wasn't able to export the app is because it was attached to a sharepoint list.  The solution was to decouple and to create in powerapps lone standing. I'm new to this so I didn't think of it before. Btw - super late update here 🙂
