When Visible Property is false in a form - does the field gets submitted?

Hi, I  have a form with several fields, which get filled when a person is chosen in a certain field. Now, some of the fields in some cases shouldn't be submitted, depending on a state of a certain dropdown, which determines whether it's a onboarding or a settlement to a new position, e.g.

My question is: When I hide a field by setting its visible property to false - will the field with maybe a default value in it be submitted with the form?

Yes, if you set the visible property of a card to false, the field will still be submitted.

This is a technique we can use to set fields with values that are not shown to the user.
