Who owns an app, account, co-owners, tenant?

What happens if i start an new powerapp build on my Office365 account.

Then i leave my company for another job.

What happens to that app, that i am the creator-owner of?

I can add co-owners to the app. But my account will still be the original owner. What happens when my account is deleted and there are only co-owners left on the app?

If you leave before adding a co-owner there are ways that the admins can add one in PowerApps Admin center.  But its good to add a co-owner anyway.  When your account goes away the co-owners will still be able to edit the app and since PowerApps always re-negotiate the authentication with the current user that shouldn't be a problem either.  The one thing that would be a problem is if you used something like an Excel file stored in your OneDrive as a data source.  That will be deleted unless someone intervenes 30 days after your account is deleted/disabled.

Great, thank you.

However with the above solution, I think co-owner can edit the app, but when a user request a the app where does the request notification goes, since the account is inactive, who and how that request will be validated.?

Can you add an Office 365 group as a co-owner?

You can share with a group, but only people can be owners.

You can change the actual owner of an app using PowerShell.

PowerShell support - Power Platform | Microsoft Docs
