Why i am unable to add fields inside my Gallery which has a collection as its Source items

I have 2 SharePoint lists Master (IT Access) and Child (AD Access), the child has a Lookup field to the Master, now inside the Master create form, i need to have fields for adding Child records and a gallery to show the added child records, so i added 2 fields inside the Master create form (Name & Active Directory Access) to populate the child items :-

Here is the collection i have:-

Then i added a Gallery to show the added items inside the Collection, But when i tried to build the gallery  by clicking on Edit fields, i got empty list as follow:-

any idea what is going on ,, why the edit fields is not showing the collection fields?

thanks

Hi @johnjohn123

Fields will show only to the form. To display fields within the gallery you needs to insert control(s) based on the type

Assume, you want to display text on the label control

  • Select the gallery and Insert Label or Text
  • Set Text property of Label/Text control to ThisItem.ColumnName
