I like Power apps canvas apps, but when it comes to Dataverse, Model driven apps, Portals I have to go through dynamics part as well to get some functionalities working. why is that? I am not a dynamics guy, I cleared pl-100 and now if I want to clear pl-200 I also need dynamics. why is Microsoft cheating people saying that it's something for citizen developers while people are expected to understand dynamics as well? and also canvas apps functionality is not very simple for citizen developers to understand.
The Power Platform, including Power BI, has always been under the dynamics product group (Business Applications). I know many people, like me, use it primarily in Office 365 with SharePoint and Excel, but that's not where it started or was developed. The tests reflect that positioning.
now that they are calling it power platform, I hope they separate is asap.
The entire Power platform is part of the Dynamics product team and I don't see that changing.
The first Microsoft-sponsored Power Platform Conference is coming in September. 100+ speakers, 150+ sessions, and what's new and next for Power Platform.
This training provides practical hands-on experience in creating Power Apps solutions in a full-day of instructor-led App creation workshop.
