Word doc with images

Hi all,

I figured out a way to store images from PowerApps to SharePoint.

Now, I need to enable the powerapps to populate a word document with the captured images (Say I have 8 images)

Is that possible?

I can't use a premium subscription for that.

@RezaDorrani @ShaneYoung

Thanks

Hi @Vignesh_2112 :

Yes.But you cannot freely create a word file, you need to create a template first.I've made a test for your reference.

1\Create a word file and add 8 Image controls

1.JPG

2\Upload this word document to your SharePoint library

3\ Save the image to SharePoint (you have done)

4\Create a flow

4.JPG

  • Use 'Get file content using path' action in flow to get the Image content
  • Fill the template with Image content
  • Create a new doc file

5\Add the flow into your app and trigger it in your app

I think this links will help you a lot:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/wordonlinebusiness/

In addition,if you can not find the developer tag in your word file, here is the solution:

file-options-customize ribbon

Thanks for the reply @v-bofeng-msft

Is there a way to populate word document without using premium feature of " Populate a word template".

Like "Quick parts " in word

Thanks

Hi @Vignesh_2112 :

I'm afraid we can only use the method I mentioned.

If you want the functions you mentioned to be realized, you can post to the following forum:
