Working with different Sharepoint Lists

Dear all,

I have three different sharepoint lists.

The main-list collects some data from the two other lists AND own items direct from this list.

The other lists are "help-lists"

In one helplist i can find some aircraft-registrations and his owner-company.

Now, on the mainlist in powerapps i would make a combobox-field where i can search the registration (from the helplist) and would like to update the mainlist with this value.

--> this part isn't the problem...

But:

Also i would like to update the company - but the company should not be open for a search, just to view and update on the mainlist in spo and in the app if i have choosen the registration.

This is what i don't know how to resolve.

Can maybe anyone help me?

Many thanks.

Hi @PMO_CH ,

Do you want to populate the Company field based on the Registration selection? And make this field read-only?

If yes, assuming that your registration combobox only allows single selection.

So for the Company field, you can try this formula of the Default property:

LookUp(‘Airport Company to Aircraft dependencies’; Registration=ComboBox2.Selected.Result).Company

Then set DisplayMode property of this Company field to:

DisplayMode.View

What’s more, for your submit button, remember to add ResetForm(EditForm1), so that next time, when create a new record, without selecting a registration, the company will be blank.
