Writing to a sharepoint site from a flow in powerapps

Hi,

How are you all doing ?

So I have this use case:

1. User launches power app via a link in their email, they submit the form

2. The flow will launch and write that information to a sharepoint site

3. The sharepoint site is confidential as it contains multiple user's data

4. The flow for this user fails as the user running the powerapp does not have access to the sharepoint list.

Short of adding everyone to the sharepoint list, is there a way to allow everyone write, but not read access to the sharepoint list?

Thanks,

Jon

Re: Writing to a sharepoint site from a flow in powerapps

Hi Jon,

In SharePoint, there is a configuration where you can set that the user will be able to Read and Create/Edit only his own items, this configuration could fit for this situation:

You just need to go to List Settings > Advanced Settings

Hope that this helps you @jdrussell78

@douglasromao it sure does, I was transferring it to another sharepoint list, and then deleting it from the first list.

I may keep it as it is for auditing purposes for now, but this is good that you can do this.
