Wrong dropdown type to collect into sp list

Hello,

I am building a reservation app. And for the time specification, I choosed to work with a dropdown list where the informations in it come  from my sharepoint list.

So in sharepoint there is a column with the choice type and the choises are synced to my app.

After choosing a time from this drop down list I want to collect the data to my sharepoint list using this command:

Collect(Reservationslist, CollectAppointment)

(I generate a collection out of all informations first).

But there is an error:

The TimeRes column and the data source you're updating expects a 'Record' type and you're using a 'Text' type.

Note: The collection for time is made with: TimeRes: Dropdown2.Selected.Value

Thanks for any help

@Zapackdom

Instead of collecting time like you are doing now

TimeRes: Dropdown2.Selected.Value

Try collecting the time this way.  It will store a record data type which is what the error message wants you to do.

TimeRes: Dropdown2.Selected

Re: Wrong dropdown type to collect into sp list

After the collection,
Set the Dropdown items to: CollectAppointment.TimeRes
Then
TimeRes: Dropdown2.Selected.TimeRes
