businesscard API powerapps doesn´t work in IOS

Hi guys ,

I make the app in powerapps using businesscard API .

In desktop and androids it´s work fine, but in latest IOS in iphone 8+ ,  after scan the card,  the app return the error " something happened. Try again later" .  I use another iphone, reinstall the app, but doesn´t solved .

Hi @ruyleal ,

Do you use the Business card render control to scan the Business card info within your app?


Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. The screenshot as below:11.jpg

The version of my iPhone X is 12.4, and the version of PowerApps Mobile App is 3.19081.19.


Please check if the version of PowerApps Mobile App in your iOS device is the latest version, if not, please consider upgrade it to the latest version, then try your app again, check if the issue is solved.


If the issue still exists, please consider uninstall the PowerApps Mobile App from your iOS device, then re-install it, then try your app again, check if the issue is fixed.

Same problem. Create new app, put Card Reader into canvas and try with ios device (android and web access works fine). In my case it doesn't return any error, the control desn't even display scanned or chosen image and simply doesn't do anything. Tesed on different ios versions, same result.
