can you have a default value of dropdown 2 based on dropdown 1?

hi. i have two drop downs. each drop down has three options.

when left dropdown has "program", i want all the options on the right dropdown to still appear, BUT i just want the default choice to be "entity". anyway to do this?

again, i still want all options to be there, just change the default value that is show first.

Hi @cchan000 ,

try this on Default property of the Dropdown 2

If(Dropdown1.Selected.Value = "Program", "Entity")

hi! thanks for the quick reply.

i don't always want dropdown 2 to be value "entity," only when dropdown 1 value is value "program."

Re: can you have a default value of dropdown 2 based on dropdown 1?

I think you want to set the default of Dropdown2 conditionally, meaning you need an if statement, in this case I am assuming that if Dropdown1 is NOT "Program" you will want dropdown2 default to be blank:

If(Dropdown1.Selected.Value = "Program", "Entity", Blank())
