collecting attachment from power apps form into SharePoint list

Hi

On one of my apps screen one is the screen that creates a new record, after this i am going to use patch to collect further data from forms on multiple screen and patch to screen 1's record.

Am i able to patch the data that is captured in the attachment section which is an auto populated column within SharePoint?

Hi @Kmayes ,

Do you want to use patch function to update attachments in an existing record?

Please notice that attachments control could only be used inside a form.

And to submit data in attachments, you could only use SubmitForm function.

So I agree with @WarrenBelz , I'm afraid it's not supported to use patch function to update attchments.

Actually, you could use patch function to update other fields then use submitform to submit attachments.

For example:

1)insert a form, only choose attachments in the form

set the form's Item the record that you want to use patch to update

2)formula to update:

Patch(....);//update other fields by using patch function
SubmitForm(Form1)//update attachments to the same record

Hi @Kmayes ,

Are you asking if you can upload an attached file to SharePoint using Patch? If so, then no, it is not possible to do in any other way then SubmitForm.

If you mean something else, can you please elaborate.
