Hi @Expolio,

Have you tried my solution?

Actually, there is no need to click a button to achieve this, you could set the DefaultSelectedItems as below:

ComboBoxName.Selected

Or if you insist on a Button to achieve this, please try to use a variable.

Set the OnSelect of the button as below:

Set(VarChoice,ComboBox1.Selected)

And then, set the  DefaultSelectedItems as below:

VarChoice

Please check as above.

Best Regards,
Qi

@Expolio You can do it without the need to click a button. Just set the default property of the second Dropdown to Dropdown1.Selected.Value

i have tried ,it says me that a record type is expected

@Expolio What do you have in the Items property of the 2 Dropdowns?

I have two different SP list  and i have the same column in both of them so in both of them i have the default item property ,which is : Choices([@table].column)

@Expolio Well, that means the datasource for the two Dropwdowns are not the same. So you have to do a filter to get the matching item.

Filter(Choices([@table2].column) , column=Dropdown1.Selected.Value)

Hi @Expolio

Do you want to populate the dropdown with selection from another dropdown?

Could you please tell me if your dropdown control is a Combo Box or a Dropdown box?

From all your description, I think you have a Combo Box, that's why the Default property expects a Record value.

To display another dropdown selected in the dropdown, you should set the DefaultSelectedItems as below:

ComboBoxName.Selected

Yeah you are totally right ,sorry, they are combo box ,

my idea is that with  the press of the button the selected item in one combo box will be copy to the other (they are from different SP tables but the options in the columns are the same.)
