count the number of items in a dropdown list

Is there a way to count the number of "items" in a dropdown list after it has been filtered ?

I tried doing something different using isblank

If(!IsBlank(dwn_SubTasks),Red, Color.Black)

This works well .

You can use the CountRows() function on the data source but you can not directly use it on a drop down

So Maybe if you can Use a collection and pass the filtered data to that collection and count it would be better approach.

Or maybe you can use the same filter on the data set that you are using for drop down to count
for Example.

CountRows(Filter(DropDownSample, Value ="1"))

I tried doing something different using isblank

If(!IsBlank(dwn_SubTasks),Red, Color.Black)

This works well .
