filter dropdowns

I have a SP List (CapEx Projects) and 2 dropdowns (ddMarket and ddProject). I want the user to be able to select the project (project_title) in the second dropdown depending on what market (facility_31) they choose.

I've tried the filter and distinct functions but haven't had any luck.

@BenjaminMartin ,

Your first drop-down is OK.

One the second one you need to refer to the output of the first - looking at it now, it should be

ddMarket.Selected.Result

Its pretty simple,

on the first dropdown change you need to filter the second dropdown.

Filter( Project, Project.Market = Marketdropdown.selected.text)

@BenjaminMartin ,

You might try

Filter(
   Project,
   Project.Market = Marketdropdown.Selected.Value
).project_title

I am assuming your Market field is a Choice field.

For the first dropdown I have:

Distinct('Capex Projects',facility_31)

When I try Choices( 'Capex Projects'.facility_31 ) in the first dropdown I get an invalid argument error

When I put Filter(ddProject,project_title = ddMarket.SelectedValue).project_title for the second dropdown I get an invalid argument type error.

I get the same error when I try

Filter( ddProject, Project_title = ddMarket.Selected.text)

my dropdowns are ddMarket and ddProject, my source is 'CapEx Projects'. project_title and facility_31 are columns in the source
