fix an error in SharePointIntegration.SelectedHidden property

Hi, Is there any way to access the "SelectedHidden" property of SharePointIntegration? I am trying to debug a few PowerApps errors (see screen clip attached).

These errors came up after I renamed the SP list that feeds the powerapps form, then added the new datasource (the new list name) and changed all references to the old one.

Thanks

Unfortunately for me this solution isn't working.
I verified the lookup for the SharePointIntegration.SelectedHidden and it seems fine to me.
'Tickets' is the correct name for the list. The list hasn't been renamed at all. I don't see the issue...

Can anyone help me please?

I have the same issue. Did not rename the list used in the app.

For a while I could solve it by editing the app with a different user. However the issue came back for this user as well so no permanent solution here either.

Did you manage to solve the issue?

The solution from anonymous on ‎10-17-2019 03:04 PM  seemed to solve the issue for me.

Thank you for your quick response.

I tried changing the 1.json file. The references were still correct as I never changed the name of the list. However, there are some differences between the code mentioned in the solution post and mine:

          {
            "Property": "DataSource",
            "Category": "Data",
            "InvariantScript": "[@Bezoekregistratie]"
          },
          {
            "Property": "SelectedHidden",
            "Category": "Data",
            "InvariantScript": "LookUp([@Bezoekregistratie], Id = SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID)"
          },

The ID value is spelled with a lower case d. Also the list reference looks a bit different. I have no idea if this has any effect on the way the solution is communicating with SharePoint.

I tried changing the values but that resulted in the complete disappearance of the SharePointIntegration component within Power Apps studio.

It has been the second time this issue has struck us within two different lists and rebuilding the app once in a while is not an option. Neither was Microsoft support able to give us a durable solution.

Do you have any idea on how to solve this issue?

SharePointIntegration component within Power Apps studio disappears for my app too after changing json file under msapp.

I had the same issue as before. My list had also been renamed but didn't immediately get the error.

Default action should be to restore a previous version of the form but mine was older than 6 months which doesn't work, which is stupid as it was my previous published version.

So for the people who tried the solution above with export and where all the data source names are ok, you can try the following:

0) Export your broken app so you always have a copy, even if it doesn't work

1) create a new list with custom powerapp, which is temporary. Edit this powerapp, match size to your other powerapp and remove all items from the form.

2) open your powerapp that is broken. Select all items on the form and copy them using CTRL + C.

3) go to your empty temporary app, CTRL + V (and yes magically all fields with all properties are copied).

4) Go to the list of your broken app, list settings, form settings and Remove the powerapp from the list.

4) Make sure the name of the list matches the name of the data source set for the fields in your powerapp again. (if you've renamed the list, rename it back and live with it! Or be prepared to relink all fields to a new datasource

5) create a new blank powerapp for your list, match size with your previous app

6) Go to your temp app, CTRL + C

7) go to your new app, CTRL + V

😎 if you've made sure the data source name is correct in step 4, all fields should be linked correctly and you can just republish your app.

Note: if you have multiple data sources, collections, images, ... you'll need to re-create these.

For me the fields and its properties were the biggest effort so this worked for me.

Hope it helps someone!

I get the same error on New Lists and Forms. Since it's the SharePointIntegration control I'm just ignoring the error.

I did have to edit my SharePointForm1 and set the Item expression to select the correct selected SharePoint item:

Last(FirstN(MY_LIST_NAME, SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID))

Hello... I have faced the same problem of all while exporting and importing... I was trying to fix the sellectionhidden option related to the SharepointIntegration control.... I saw several posts indication procedures and nothing worked for me... in fact some guys were amazing while providing the json editons and tips... but the issue while importing always were there till I saw the video below... presented by Michael Wright.

The trick is while unzipping and rezipping the msaap file. you need to execute it using powershell. on the video you will find a link to tool which provides 2 scripts, one for unzipping... (where you can do you changes) and another script for zipping it back. I followed the procedures and IT WORKED PERFECTLY!!!

After days and days navigating for several posts... finally I found the solution... Try it and post if it worked!!! 🙂

This is a solution I got from Microsoft:

1. Go to the form where you got the SharePointIntegration.SelectedHidden error in the PowerApps editor
2. Open the browser development console (F12)
3. Type in these instructions in the console:

var entity = AppMagic.context.documentViewModel.entityManager.tryGetEntityByName('SharePointIntegration');

var rule = entity.globalRuleManager._getOrCreateSingleRuleManager(entity).getOrCreateRuleViewModel('SelectedHidden');

rule.rhs // get the current rule value for the hidden property

rule.setRhsAsync("LookUp([@NAMEOFYOURLIST], 'Id (ID)' = SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID)") // Edit the rule value to whatever you need. Change the list name and the lookup column.

rule.rhs // Check that the rule value updated successfully
4. Change all the references to datasources in your app that use the .ID column to .'Id (ID)'
5. Now you will have no more errors.
6. Save the app
7. Reload the app to check, the error disappeared.
8. Publish your app without any faults

Finally got a solution which works without updating msapp. Updated the list name/data source using above one and issue at  SharepointIntegration.SelectHidden got disappeared.  Thanks for sharing @Mistaah_G ... !!!
