Hi @gautmish,

I wanted to give you an update on this issue. My colleague investigated this issue some more and determined that this was a regression introduced a while back. He is working on getting a fix out soon. While I cannot give an exact date for when the fix will hit production, we estimate that it will be within a month.

Thanks,

Allen

Hi @gautmish,

Could you please share a screenshot of your PowerApps app's configuration?

Could you please share a bit more about the Gallery control within another screen?

Further, do you use the LoadData() function to load the collection data within your another screen?

I have made a test on my side and the images shows well. My PowerApps app's configuration as below:

Screen1: 11.JPG

The OnSelect property of Collect Button control set to following formula:

Collect(AnswerImages,{ImageUrl:AddMediaButton1.Media});SaveData(AnswerImages,"AnswerImagesLocal")

The OnSelect property of Next Screen Button control set to following formula:

Navigate(Screen2,ScreenTransition.Fade);Clear(AnswerImages)

Screen2:12.JPG

14.JPG

The OnVisible property of Screen 2 set to following formula:

LoadData(AnswerImages,"AnswerImagesLocal")

More details about SaveData() function and LoadData() function, please check the following article:

SaveData and LoadData function in PowerApps

Kris

HI @v-xida-msft

Did you get some time to check below issue .

Thanks

Hi @gautmish,

Thank you for the details of your app and its rules. I was able to reproduce the issue locally on my mobile device. I am also not seeing the saved images in the gallery in the second screen. If I take a photo, just this most recent one shows up correctly in the gallery. If I don't take a new photo and just go to the second screen, all images are empty/blank.

Let me follow-up with some folks on my side to see if this is a current limitation or an issue.

Thanks,

Allen

Hi @AllenKim,

Any update on this . this is the key feature of our application , so need to solve this soon .

Please suggest.

Thanks

Gautmish

Hi @gautmish,

After discussing with some folks, it looks like saving and loading local images is not a fully supported scenario. Saved and loaded local images are only valid for the lifetime of the app instance. When you restart and app, any previously saved images become invalid. This is due to how we internally manage local images.
