getting data from external users

hello, looking for some advise.

Context - We're designing a new starter form app, which applicants complete before they start

Overall process would be

we will email the applicant a link to the APP, to start the request and complete some data, once the form is submitted it notifies the recruitment team, they will add their bits onto the form they will then submit the form off to the relevant parties

The Issue/Question

we want to develop an app which goes to the successful applicant before they start in the organisation(therefore doesn't have access to the company's sharepoint etc).,so that they provide us data about their previous employment etc 

what would be the best way to do this?

You can add them as guest user and share the app and data source with them.
