grant permissions on a detailform and editform

Dear Sirs

I converted a Sharepoint list into a canvas app.(gallery)

In the app, each detail form belongs /is dedicated to a country.

Now I would like to prevent users from a country from seeing and editing the form of another country.

=> I know that i have to create groups of users by country to manage the permissions.  Do i need to create sharepoint groups or AD security groups?

=> how do i set the permissions in power apps, I don't see where ? do i have to use power apps?

Thank you very much for your help 🙂

regards

I do understand your requirement.  I am suggesting that you call a Flow(s) from PowerApps in order to get group memberships.  Based on the response from the Flow, you can choose which form to present to your users.

@Peggy2019

I believe that you'll want to use a Flow.

You'll probably want to use SharePoint groups - there is an Azure AD connector but I believe that admin permissions are required.

Here is a link to a video from @RezaDorrani that details how to list SharePoint group membership.

Based on the group membership, you can have a user navigate to your country specific form.

Thanks Scott, but i am not looking for getting the list of members of a SP Group through a flow.

I would like to prevent a group of users to view and edit the form in power apps...
