help with cascading list to set default as please select

hey all,

I've got several dropdown boxes, and the options are limited depending what they selected on the previous dropdown result.

the formula is                   Distinct(Filter('Master L2 to L5', 'Org L2' = L2_Drop.Selected.Result),'Org L3')

My problem, is that the boxes auto selects the first option, however I don't want that to happen, is there still a way that it can say in the box "Please select", instead of the first option available from the choices.

thanks in advance

Hi @stebro1986 ,

You can set AllowEmptySelection to true and it will default to blank - or you can make a Collection

ClearCollect(
   colOrg13,
   {Result: "Please select"},
   Distinct(
      Filter(
         'Master L2 to L5',
         'Org L2' = L2_Drop.Selected.Result
      ),
      'Org L3'
   )
)

then the Items is colOrg13.
