You cannot - nothing runs when the app is closed. You may be able to do something in Power Automate if you want to action something at a set period.

i want to know about when i checked in on attendance page the timer will start ,after that i have to close that app and when its open again timer will shown in the running position .means timer run in the backend when app is closed.
Hi @Akashdeep,
I can provide suggestion for that but not sure that can help
Create a table/SharePoint List to Maintain Time Start and Employee.
When User Start the attendance we can store the value in the SharePoint List/Table with the Current Time & Logged in User.
Then when we reopen the app get the stored time from the List/table and you can start your calculation according to that.
Once all your work done remove the record form the List/Table.
