if-isblank statement using fields from 2 other forms

Hope all is well with you and yours.

I have an app where there are 3 forms to view various information.  The If-isblank statement itself is Valid, however it will not show the ELSE information when field is blank.  form1 = cardvalue53 / form2 = cardvalue64

if form 2 displays "No Item to Display" then the field will keep previous data and not update to form1 information.  I have tried the following:  If(IsBlank / IfError( / If(IsBlankError/ If( , neither of them populate form1 info when form2 has nothing to display.

I also tried to create a collection and use the If statement with the collection, but that will not populate any information, and gives and error message for Expected Text Value, stating the information it's receiving is a table value not a text value.  Do I need to format the collection??

If(IsBlank(DataCardValue64.Text), DataCardValue53.Text, DataCardValue64.Text)

Please advise as to your conclusion.

Figured it out, I get to use the whole 'FieldName_DataCard'.Default not the datacardvalue.text

It now reflects properly.
