Re: in the Gallery how to give edit text bar they can edit will submit in the Data base

Hi @Raj_Saha,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to submit data from a Gallery control into your data source without using Edit form?

If you want to submit data from a Gallery control into your data source without using Edit form, I think the Patch function could achieve your needs.

I have made a test on my side (Modify list item record), please take a try with the following workaround:8.JPG

Set the OnSelect property of the "Submit" button to following formula:

Patch(
'20180712_case4',
ThisItem,
{
Title:ThisItem.Title,
RegisterDate:DateValue(TextInput1.Text)
}
)

Note: The TextInput1 represents the Text input control within my Gallery control. The '20180712_case4' represents the SP list data source within my app.

If you want to submit an new record into your data source, please take a try with the following formula:

Patch(
'YourSPlist',
Defaults('YourSPlist'),
{
Title:"",
RegisterDate:"",
...
}
)

More details about the Patch function within PowerApps, please check the following article:

Patch function

Best regards,

Kris
