intranet database connexion

HELLO
I NEED TO CHECK IF I AM CONNECTED TO INTRANET NETWORK TO GET ACCESS TO A DATABASE THAT IS IN THE INTRANET ONLY
THE CONDITION THAT I AM THYING TO MAKE IS
IF CONNECT TO INTRANET NETWORK I PATCH IN THE DATABASE (THE PATCH IS OK FOR MEE)
I DONT KNOW HOW DO THE IF CONDITION
1. HOW TO CONNECT MY DATABASE VIA MYSQL CONNECTOR AND ACCESS THE INTRANET
2. HOW TO CHECK IF THE USER IS CONNECTED TO THE INTRANET

You could do something like this..

If(Count('[dbo].[YourTableName]'.ID)>0
,"True",
"False"
)

Why ID ? I dont understand why do this ?

I reference the ID column in the Count() function as a test to ensure there are rows returned from the on-premises data connector. @eka24's answer works as well, but it only ensures the device is connected to the internet.

I tried dbo.contact.ID>0 but  its not working i dont know why 

I have a colonne name contcat_id i try with this ?
