issue when trying to save a numeric value into common data service

when i try to save new fields in the entity iget this error

it happens only when i try to add a numeric value, when I add an text value i dind't get this error

I am not familiar with CDS; however, curious if you get the error if you have tried something along the lines of:

Could you please share more details about the error message within your app?

How do you save the Number value into your CDS entity?

Which version of your CDS?

Based on the screenshot that you provided, I found that you are using a old version of CDS (CDS 1.0), is it true?

I have made a test on my side (add records via click "Open in Excel" option), and don't have the issue that you mentioned. The GIF screenshot as below:

Please check if you have provided a proper Numeric value for the Number type column of your CDS entity. Please consider take a try to add records via clicking "Open in Excel" option as I mentioned above, then check if the issue is solved.

If the issue still exists, please take a try to clear cache of your browser, then check if the issue is solved.

In addition, you could also consider take a try to create your CDS entity within new version CDS (CDS 2.0), then add records into the CDS entity, check if the issue still exists.
