pricing query related to CDM

I see below pricing for CDM databases.

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

Data storage in the Common Data Service (per user) 20 MB200 MB

Now in 99% of the organisations data remains in centralized location using oracle, sql, salesforce.com or any other databases.

With above scenario it is assumed that each user will store data in his own database. So if you have 300 users there will be 300 different data bases. What we need is central CDM database(with less pricing than SPLA120$ per month SQL standard edition-http://dev.vmhosts.co.uk/wp/vmhosts-cloud-hosting/microsoft-spla/sql-spla-prices/) to host a database and then admin users should be able to create apps around this cloud database and then end users will be able to use powerapp using this central CDM.

is the architecrure of CDM assumes that there will be 20 MB or 200 MB per user databases for example 1000 databases if we have 1000 users? How to agregate these 1000 databases for dashboard, export purpose?

The data amount is per user and aggregated at the tenant level. So if you have 1000 P1 licenses, it means you can create CDS with TOTAL of 1000x20MB.

Each P2 license allows you to create up to two environments, each with a CDS instance. Add more P2s if you need more environments and CDS instances.

Each environment and CDS instance is located to a region of your choice.

Versus SQL, you of course get the built-in Common Data Model, integrated permission management and down the road many more things like integrated BI model generation.

Hope that helps.
