To avoid delegation issues with CountRows trying to find out the total number of Orders in Dynamics, I use a simple flow, that only retrieves all Orders, initializes the variable to the length, and returns this variable to PowerApps. The flow run log show me that the flow runs successfully However, no data seems to arrive in PowerApps. The context variable I set to the return value of the flow seems to be an empty record. Trying to use the result in a title yields an empty string.
A simple workaround seems to be to replace the "Respond to PowerApps" action with a Http Response. Then the flow log still shows success and PowerApps displays a number
Why does the more natural "Respond to PowerApps" action not work?
Is there maybe some confusion with integer/number/string type? The only difference I can see in the returned bodies is that the Http Response returns the computed number plain without quotes
while Respond to PowerApps seems to return a string

I don't know if there's such a thing as a Flow version.
