I am trying to make a repeating table between tabbed forms, has anyone done this before?
Where the user could edit, and delete the repeating table when editing the form and when creating it too
Of course, I have a form made in tabs, but in the third tab there is a part that would be the table repeating, and I need it to be able to be saved every time the user makes a new record, this table repeating can be editable, deleting items in the table repeating and creating new ones for the same table repeating.
I need the ID to always be recognized for this to happen, when he is creating a new form, the table repeating creates new items, and when he is editing a form already saved, the table repeating in the middle is able to recognize the ID and edit, delete and create a new one for the same ID of the table repeating.
Did you get it?
Do you need to build a repeating section in the canvas app, follow the below post to create one
In this post CRUD operation is explained. I will explain the steps mentioned in the post again,
1. Intialize the collection which is to be set to the gallery.
2. Map the gallery with the collection and set dynamic height property
3. Delete option to remove the record from gallery
4. To add a new record.
5. To save the gallery records back to database on button click.
Okay, If it is new mode load the empty collection on "OnVisible".
If Edit Mode load the collection with data.
These are just high-level thoughts, I am not clear with the exact scenario
