I'm trying to use these functions to store user preferences, in powerApp used in a "Teams" tab.
I'm aware that these funtionality is not available in a browser.
So I think it would be available in "Teams" MS Windows Application running in Windows 10, but it seems not.
Doesn't anyone can confirm that saveData / loadData doesn't work in Windows 10 MS Teams application.
Is there any other way to store user preferences ?
Nope, mobile device and the app are required.
To store user preferences you need to build out a database table to store these in. I use for security etc. a user table and then you can reference who you are logged in as by using user() funciton to match to get data from that table.
Hi @Jean-Christophe,
Do you want to use SaveData function and LoadData function in Windows 10 MS Teams application?
If you want to use SaveData function and LoadData function in Windows 10 MS Teams application, I think there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.
Currently, within PowerApps, the SaveData function and LoadData function could only be available within Mobile device, they could not be used within Web browser and Windows 10 MS Teams.
If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Best regards,
Thanks both for your replies.
I can't mark it as solution, as it's not.
It's frustrating to not be able save any local data.
Considering Teams isn't even offline capable your expectations are off.
