share point online JSON button over share point list

hi, i came across the following video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=316&v=23NvSB4cu5w&feature=emb_title

i now wanted to start a powerapp directly via a share point list with a JSON button like to start a flow/power automate.
Must the powerapp be specially designed for this list or can i theoretically start any other powerapp? and how does the webId look now? my Powerappp has the following WebID: https://apps.powerapps.com/play/746fb3c9.c8cc.482e.a7e6.4810f2784317? tenantId \u003d ee2c1d57.faad.48e3.aebb.06338b4a32 ??

the video does not seem to me to be up to date

kind regards

Re: share point online JSON button over share point list

Hi @testaccPA ,

Ok...I think I understand your meaning.

Actually, opening a powerapps app means launch a hyperlink. (the app's link)

You just need to set the column's Column Formatting to this kind of json:

{
   "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/sp/v2/column-formatting.schema.json",
   "elmType": "a",
   "txtContent": "@currentField",
   "attributes": {
      "target": "_blank",
      "href": "='https://apps.powerapps.com/play/b05d425f-8660-462a-b3d4-436e7d51b7c3?tenantId=9e51064f-f6a5-41a2-.....' + @currentField"
   }
}

"https://apps.powerapps.com/play/b05d425f-8660-462a-b3d4-436e7d51b7c3?tenantId=9e51064f-f6a5-41a2-..... " is my app's link.

Please replace it with your app;s link.

You just need to use this kind of json to open a hyderlink:

"href": "='web link' + @currentField"

You could find your app's link in your app's details.

 Please make sure that you have permission to this app.

Here's a doc about how to format columns by using json for your reference:

Re: share point online JSON button over share point list

Hi @testaccPA ,

Do you want to run an app by clicking a button in sharepoint custom form?

If so, you could set the button's OnSelect:

Launch("app web link")

For example,

Launch("https://apps.powerapps.com/play/4a0bddaf-7bff-4b80-b741-1629ad43efb3?tenantId=9e51064f-f6a5.............")

You could find the web link in the app's details:

 Then, when you click the button, you will open the app.

Please make sure you have permission to run the app and the permission of the app's data source.. Or else you can not open the app successfully.
