I have an entity DierlijstItems (plural, single=DierLijstItem) with a many to one relation to entity Dierlijsten (plural, single=DierLijst).
In a gallery displaying Dierlijsten I want to check for each items if it appears in DierLijstItems.
I get an error on the "=" like I am comparing different variable types.
To be clear: DierLijst is not a column of DierLijsten I defined, but it does exist: If I put a lable on the item ThisItem.DierLijst I get a Guid
Since I made a relation between to two tables DierLijst is also a valid identifier in DierLijstItems. If I make a gallery of DierLijstItems I can use ThisItem.DierLijst.SomeFieldOfDierLijst.
Putting it on another way
Table Children (there is no explicit relation column, the relation has just been defined with the entity, parent does yield a guid on thisitem.parent in a gallery)
Relation many to one
How many children does a parent have? the parent is an item in a gallery
This does not work, PA says I am comparing different data types.
What syntax to use please??
I used to work with integer id field in delphi with no problem.
The fact that I only need to state a relation suggest that powerapps solve the rest for me. But how?
