Hey Team!

I want to create a simular app like Shane Youngs Video, Repeating tables like infopath. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgznk4XlPCo.

But in my collection i need a combobox field with multipe choices.  Right now i got this code when Im creating a new collection.

NewForm(VerkForm);ClearCollect(Collection1, {Activity: "", Money: 0}) ,

But whats the code for adding a new column for my combobox?

Re: Add Combobox values to a collection

Hi @PowerTomas ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to add a new column in your Collection with multiple choice values, then you could bind the new column to a ComboBox control?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:

Modify your formula as below:

NewForm(VerkForm);
ClearCollect(
Collection1,
{
Activity: "",
Money: 0,
ComboBoxField: ["PowerApps", "Power BI", "MS Flow", "Azure"]
}
)

Then you could add a Gallery control in your app, set the Items property to following:

Collection1

within the Gallery, add a ComboBox control, set the Items property of the ComboBox to following:

ThisItem.ComboBoxField

Within above Collection1, you should provide a Table value (consists of available options) for the ComboBoxField.

Please take a try with above solution, check if the issue is solved.

Re: Add Combobox values to a collection

Hi PowerTomas,

You need to add necessary column to the collection. For example.

ClearCollect(
FinalCollection,
AddColumns( ExistingCollection, "NewColumn", LookUp('YourAnotherDataSource', FilteredColumn = ExistingCollection[@Relatedcolumn], DisplayedColumn) )
)

Add Final Collection as a data source to Combobox.

If this answered your question then please mark it as verified.
