Can't Use PowerApps Form with Content Types in List

Hello,

I have a some lists, and am trying to replace some older InfoPath forms with PowerApps. It seems I can create a publish a form from PowerApps web, but it doesn't load the form. It actually loads the classic form.

I thought this might have something to do with Content Types being used on the list. So I turned off managing content types, and it still did not work. Then I noticed in the forms settings, the option to use the PowerApps form is greyed out, with the message that new list experice is required. Of course, I had already turned on the new list experience.

I tested a theory that once Content Types are used, I can't use a PowerApps form even after then turning off Content Types. I created a sample list with content types then turned them off -- same result as I am having with these couple other lists using content types. Is this a known issue, and is there any workaround? There are no special column types...  just drop downs, dates, yes/no, and single/multi-line text columns. I've not had any issue with the other lists that have never used content types, so this is the best I can deduce.

Re: Can't Use PowerApps Form with Content Types in List

Hi @KS2,

If the Customize forms option isn't available or doesn't work correctly for your list, it might contain data types that PowerApps doesn't support.  So far, Task Outcome, External data and Rating column types are not supported for SharePoint cutom Form in PowerApps, please check if your list contains these column types.

Mona
