Count total emails in Inbox

Hi Guys

Ive searched the forum and cant seem to find an appropraite answer. Im looking to create a wallboard app that displays total emails in my inbox and have that refresh every x minutes.

1)How do i display total emails in my inbox as all solutions seem to only display a limited amount of emails. In most cases my inbox will have between 50 - 200 emails.

Thanks for any input.

Re: Count total emails in Inbox

Hi @larryCapita ,

I've made a similar test and found the same problem.

I'm afraid you could only get 25 emails in PowerApps at most.

You could present your opinion here:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Ideas/ct-p/PA_Comm_Ideas

As an alternative way, you could get emils according to its id.

Here's doc for your reference:

Re: Count total emails in Inbox

Hi @larryCapita ,

I recommend you use the gallery control to display emails which can display over 200 emails.

What's more, if you have need of displaying more emails, you could refer this:

https://michalguzowski.pl/how-to-overcome-500-items-limit-in-powerapps/

As how to refresh the data source every X minutes, you could use function of refresh and Timer control.

Set the Timer's Duration: 60(for example)

                         OnTimerEnd: Refresh(fruit)

                         AutoStart: true

                         Repeat: true

Re: Count total emails in Inbox

hi @v-yutliu-msft

Thanks for the reply. I have added the Gallery control and when setting the gallery control to display the items i get the same limit of 10 for the default value or MAX of 25 if i use the {Top} parameter.

The code i used is as follows //Office365.GetEmails({fetchOnlyUnread:false,top:25})//.

Am i meant to be using a different way to get my emails to the gallery control?

Thanks
