CountRows - HELP!

Dear Friends!

Please, where is my error in that formula?

I need to filter by status, my status are: "Aberto", "Fechado" and "Cancelado"ERROR.JPGOk.JPG

Re: CountRows - HELP!

If Status is a choice list in SharePoint, could you try this syntax?

CountRows(Filter('App Leads Consultores';Status.Value="Aberto"))

This syntax does produce the correct count for me, although I do receive a warning because the query isn't delegable.

Re: CountRows - HELP!

This is the formula you have in your screenshot:

CountRows(Filter('App Leads Consultores';Status="Aberto")

I think you're just missing the closing bracket, so I'd try the following:

CountRows(Filter('App Leads Consultores';Status="Aberto"))

Re: CountRows - HELP!

Hi lucas1,

As @timl suggested, please add a closing bracket, I guess it should work.

I test your code on my side, it is working fine.

Re: CountRows - HELP!

That's strange. If you hover your mouse over the exclaimation point warning, does it give any additional error information?

Hi Lucas1,

To reproduce this issue, please provide following information:
1. What’s your location?
2. What’s your data source? Please show me a screenshot of your data configuration.
3. Are you using the latest PowerApps version? In my side, the latest version is 2.0.610.
4. If convenience, please provide your Session ID. You could get Session ID under: File>Account>Diagnostics>Session Details.

Re: CountRows - HELP!

HI @lucas1,

I think the issue here is you are using a semi colon, which i think means in PowerApps world, you are ending the previous code and beginning another.

So, for example, your code is:

CountRows(Filter('App Leads Consultores';Status="Aberto"))

So your code should look like:

CountRows(Filter('App Leads Consultores',Status="Aberto"))

I've highlighted in bold where I have changed your syntax. I've tested on my own and I don't receive an error.

Hope that helps

Re: CountRows - HELP!

Hi @JayDee,

Just to make you aware, there are certain locales that use commas as the decimal point character.

For these locales, you would use a semi-colon as the list separation character, and this is reason why a semi-colon appears in the middle of the call to the Filter function. In such locales, you would use a double semi-colon to terminate a command. I realise this can be quite confusing.
