Custom Connector

Is there a way to access the Response Header of a Custom Connector to get the Link value?

I can see that there is one in Postman and when testing the Connector in Flow / PowerApps Data > Custom Connector. However, I am unsure how I get to the header from within PowerApps directly.

Regards,

Andrew

Re: Custom Connector

Hi @AndrewCarter ,

Do you want to access the Reponse Header of a Custom connector action within a PowerApps app?

If you want to access the Reponse Header of a Custom connector action within a PowerApps app directly, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

Currently, within PowerApps, you could only access the response Body result returned from the custom connector action within a canvas app.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please consider submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Re: Custom Connector

Hi @AndrewCarter

There are two ways that we can check this. The one is from the connector configuration as you mention, while the other is from dev tools\network (F12) in the browser (I prefer chrome, but Firefox also works well).

The  custom connector is completely untouched and what you see if what you got without any parsing or manipulation of the JSON.

If you use dev tools, the API URL would be obviscated and some additional parameters added, but you should be able to get what you are looking for.

Re: Custom Connector

@Dawidvh,

Many thanks for getting back to me about this.. do you know if there is a way to access this information from within the PowerApp iteself?

Pagination over large datasets is going to require looking for this to get the next dataset...

Andrew
