Datacard dropdown, show Name instead of ID (but use ID?)

Hey all,

So far i'm doing pretty decent with Powerapps and SQL in azure, but today i could use some help.

I have 2 tables that are connected with KlantID (CostumerID).

These 2 tables have a sql relationship, Table 1 = Costumer, Table 2 = Camera.

I want users to make a costumer and then have them add a camera to the CostumerID.

So far it is working well, only i want dont want to show CostumerID in the datacard value when adding a new camera, but i want to show the Costumer Name. *but stil submit the ID

So in short, attached is the image. I want to use the CostumerID in a record of a different table, but show the CostumerName of the record.

Hope this isnt to much jibberish Smiley Tongue

Re: Datacard dropdown, show Name instead of ID (but use ID?)

In your screenshot we could see that this id is a required field and you have to use it. to show the customer name maybe you need another control, since one form could only have one table binded.
