E5 users get "Get Powerapps Trail"

Hello,

im working with this company with 9k + users and have shared my app with "Everyone".

The thing is when i put it in the Sharepoint Module for Powerapps it shows them "Get PowerApps Trail" even though they have a E5 license. How to get rid of that ?

Re: E5 users get "Get Powerapps Trail"

Hi @Softbear

If it's the case that your end users are receiving the trial message, a possible reason is that those users haven't been assigned a PowerApps 365 license.

If you (or your Office365 administrator) were to visit the Office 365 Admin center (https://admin.microsoft.com/), 'PowerApps for Office365' should be enabled for the users that require access to PowerApps. If the 'PowerApps for Office365' license hasn't been assigned, those users would be prompted to start a trial.

What connectors do you use in your app? Maybe there is a premium connector or custom connector.

Those are not covered wuth the E5 licenses (or other Office365 licenses) only with the PowerApp 1 & 2 ones

Re: E5 users get "Get Powerapps Trail"

Hi @AlexN and thanks for input.

As long as i can see im not using a premium connector.

It's a very simple but powerful app, a button that adds the logged in user to a O365 group Smiley Happy

Re: E5 users get "Get Powerapps Trail"

Hi @Softbear ,

Check if the account that you use to create this app has a additional PowerApps plan2 in Office 365 admin center.

See the functionalities that PowerApps for Office365 included here:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/pricing-billing-skus#powerapps-for-office-365

Re: E5 users get "Get Powerapps Trail"

Hello @v-monli-msft ,

The account which i'm creating the app with is a E5 account. Can't see why i should need a Powerapps 2 license?
