Editing SharePoint list's multi-choice field in with additional choices populated from another SP list

I would like to be able to display and edit all of the previously selected choices from a SharePoint list's choice field, and include additional choices that populate from a another SP list.   Any ideas?

Re: Editing SharePoint list's multi-choice field in with additional choices populated from another SP list

Hi @rarroyo1 ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to include additional Choices (populated from another SP List) within the Choice field of a SP list?

Further, could you please share a bit more about the additional choices that you mentioned?

I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:

1. If the additional choices is populated from the Choice field in another SP List:

Set the OnStart property of the App control to following:

ClearCollect(
ChoiceCollection,
Choices('YourMainList'.ChoiceField),
Choices('YourAnotherList'.ChoiceField1)
)

Then within your Edit form, set the Items property of the ComboBox within the Choice field to following:

ChoiceCollection

2. If the additional choices is populated from the Text type field in another SP List:

Set the OnStart property of the App control to following:

ClearCollect(
ChoiceCollection,
Choices('YourMainList'.ChoiceField),
ForAll('YourAnotherList', {Value: TextField}) /* <-- TextField represents the Text type column in your another SP list */
)

Then within your Edit form, set the Items property of the ComboBox within the Choice field to following:

ChoiceCollection

Please take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.
